A Porsche 911 GT3 crashed in Lebanon recently during a street race with a Ferrari 458 Speciale. The video was shot by a bystander using his camera phone in portrait mode, of course.
With the Ferrari in lead, you can just about spot the red Porsche as it blazes past the camera. Both cars are headed toward a kink in the road.
The driver in the Speciale seems to slow down to get around the corner safely. The Porsche driver however, wasn’t too happy being in second place and takes the turn flat out. Even the GT3’s rear-axle steering couldn’t stop it understeering into the wall at such great speeds.
The camera captures a puff of dust and a familiar sound of a car hitting a wall. Now, wait until the camera guy sprints towards the location of the crash for you might be underestimating the force of the impact.
