The new 2018 Ford Mustang facelift has been caught testing in the wild. The revised version of the pony car will get a 10-speed automatic gearbox along with refreshed styling.
Ford currently offers the Mustang with a 2.3-liter EcoBoost, a 3.7-liter V6 and the more staple 5.0-liter V8. The choice of transmissions include a 6-speed automatic and a 6-speed manual. The 2018 Ford Mustang will be available with the new 10-speed auto, however it’s still not clear which engine it will be paired with. That said, the 5.0-liter V8 in the Mustang GT does seem to be the likely candidate.
The Mustang facelift is expected to feature a mildly revised front end with new headlight cluster, a revised grille and new front and rear bumpers. The heavy cladding around the rear end suggests that we might see a new set of tail lights on the updated Mustang.
