The new Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera will be launched at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. The high performance exotic will feature an updated 5.2-liter V10 engine and lightweight carbon fiber bodywork.
The engine will feature new high-pressure fuel-injection technology which should up the overall output. In its current tune, the naturally aspirated V10 engine produces 601 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque.
The exterior will be distinct with a large rear spoiler and a bespoke bodykit. Extensive use of carbon fiber will help reduce the overall weight of car. Moreover, carbon parts will be supplied by Becker Carbon who have extensive motorsport experience when it comes to building lightweight carbon fiber components.

Lamborghini will soon add a new member to its Huracan family. It is a lightweight, track-ready version of the baby-Lambo. It’s the Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera.
Early test prototypes of the new supercar were recently spotted at the Nurburgring. Sporting what could be a production-spec aerodynamic package inspired by the Huracan GT3 racer and the Super Trofeo series.
Noticeable features include the fixed rear wing, revised exhaust and diffuser at the rear. At the front, it gets a new bumper with aggressive looking slats and a splitter.
Under the new bodywork resides the same 5.2-liter V10 engine. However, the Huracan Superleggera will benefit from a bump in overall output. While the standard Huracan has 610 hp, the Superleggera could be around 640 hp. Add to that, the use of lightweight materials and a stripped down interior sounds quite a recipe.
The Lamborghini Huracan Superleggera will make its official debut later this year. A Spyder version will arrive at a later date.
