The Range Rover Velar is the newest addition to the Range Rover family. The premium SUV is set to debut at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.
With the Velar, Land Rover plans to take on the sporty Porsche Macan. It will be available with a range of diesel and petrol engines with the most powerful being a supercharged V6. There’s no talk about sportier Velar SVR though. Still, here’s how it might look like.
Peisert Design have once again come up with a fabulous rendering. We think the Velar in R-Dynamic trim looks properly exciting. The designer takes it a step further by adding some SVR bits. The result is a handsome looking SUV with black accents, wide intakes and massive wheels.
Velar SVR with a supercharged V8?
Land Rover’s sister company, Jaguar is already working on the F-Pace SVR. It could feature a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 with 575 hp. Perhaps, the Range Rover Velar SVR could borrow the engine from the Range Rover Sport SVR. It is a 550 hp unit which ain’t no slouch.
