The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport was at Newport Beach, California last month. The car was showcased to select clients at an event held at the Ritz Carlton hotel.
The car presented at the event was finished in a dual-tone of blue and silver. While the overall spec didn’t look particularly unique, the polished wheels gave it a rather classy look. We quite liked the understated look, if you can call it that. The dual-tone grey-black upholstery on the interior wasn’t too flashy either.

The Chiron Super Sport is powered by an 8.0-liter W16 that churns out 1600 hp, while peak torque of 1180 lb-ft is available all the way up to 7,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, enabling the car to accelerate from 0-124 mph in 5.8 seconds.
Keeping the Super Sport company was a Chiron Pur Sport. An Atlantic Blue example featuring copper highlights – a pretty unique spec. This car was delivered to Bugatti of Greenwich in April this year.
While Super Sport is built for ultimate top speed, the Pur Sport is a track-focused car. It features shorter gear ratios and a tweaked suspension setup. The car also gets a high downforce package.
