Can a high-riding SUV beat a Lamborghini in a drag race? Surely not, except if the SUV in question is Tesla Model X.
A Tesla Model X P100D was pitted against a 750 hp Lamborghini Aventador SV. The Tesla launched cleanly and took the lead and wins by 0.05 sec. I think if the Lamborghini had a better launch a quicker reaction time, it would’ve be neck-n-neck between the two.
In the second race, this time with a Model S P100D, the Aventador is rather quick to react and takes it by 0.15 sec at the quarter mile. Here too, it would have been close if both cars had launched together.
