A dealership has turned super-greedy (or super-smart) by placing a 23-mile 2020 Toyota GR Supra Launch Edition for auction on Bring A Trailer.
Bring A Trailer has what’s easily one of the first 2020 Toyota GR Supra sports cars for auction. The example in question is a limited production Launch Edition variant. Placed for auction by a dealership, this unit has got a meager 23-mile reading on the odo. Not surprised at all.
The aforementioned dealership is eager to make a killing when the demand for the new-gen Supra is high. In other aspects which will be of interest to serious buyers, since it is a dealer offering, this Toyota GR Supra Launch Edition comes with manuals, a clean Georgia title and a laminated window sticker corroborating original delivery to West Herr Toyota of Orchard Park, New York.
Finished in White Metallic paint, the Launch Edition Supra sits on gloss black wheels adorned with red brake calipers. Carbon-fiber wing mirror caps took over from the otherwise standard bright red ones. Inside, a Launch Edition plaque states that this is car number 966 in a total run of 1,500 units. Red leather seats and carbon-fiber trim complete the interior look. It’s a good place to be.
As of writing this post, the auction site’s page states that 6 more days are left before the bidding closes. The current bid is $50,550 and that’s a bit shy of the actual price of $55,250. But hey, there is plenty of days left for the bidding to reach more exciting numbers. We’ll keep an eye on this auction to see how much it rakes in before rolling off the block.
