Ford GT deliveries are underway worldwide and we are getting to know a lot of famous personalities who ordered the supercar. The latest in the line of those elite Ford GT owners is Vaughn Gittin Jr.- three-time World Drift Series champion.
The Formula Drift champion recently took delivery of his Ford GT. The car is finished in a unique Lead Foot Grey. It is one of the few in the world to be devoid of any stripes. In any case, the spec looks stealthy with the dark grey, black wheels and grey calipers.
“To me it’s about having an engineering dream that is going to give me an experience behind the wheel that no other car has been able to,” said Gittin while taking delivery of the car. As soon as the car was out of the dealership, he took the car for a test drive. “I never felt anything take of like that and my race car is a thousand horsepower. My plan is to enjoy this car, drive this car, exactly what it was meant for and built for.”
It’s great to see Vaughn keen on driving and enjoying his Ford GT instead of keeping it covered in a garage. He plans to share his GT ownership experience by giving people rides in the car and creating cool content for the internet.
