The Tesla Model S is the quarter mile king but how does it fare against an insanely fast Porsche 911 Turbo S in a half mile drag. Will the 580 hp Porsche with its all-wheel drive be able to beat the 762 hp Tesla with its instant electric torque? Watch the video to find out.

Well. We were as surprised as you are. A Tesla Model S getting defeated in a drag race in this manner is strangely unexpected. But as it turns out, a quarter mile run done by Dragtimes of the two cars yielded the same results.

All we can say is that the Porsche 911 Turbo S is a seriously underrated drag racer.
