Carwow has returned with one more challenge for the Tesla Model X and this time the electric SUV will be facing off against a proper supercar – the Lamborghini Aventador.
Assembling a line-up of super SUVs, Carwow put up quite a show last time for the Tesla Model X P100D SUV. One of the biggest challengers for the Tesla was, of course, the Lamborghini Urus, complete with a turquoise chrome Yiannimize wrap. Now the Model X has a mightier adversary wearing the same clothing – Yianni’s very own Lamborghini Aventador S.
The owner of the Urus from the last contest, Yianni was back with a vengeance as he didn’t quite enjoy the experience of his badass SUV being annihilated by the bland-looking Tesla. So he brought in the lethal weapon for this battle and the Aventador S succeeded in putting a big smile on his face.
With the contest split into both drag race and rolling starts, the results were obviously in favor of the raging bull. While the Tesla Model X beat the Lambo’s off-roader sibling, it couldn’t hold a candle to the thoroughbred Aventador S.
Having said that, it’s still impressive to see the Tesla Model X performing the way it does even when it’s got a high-performance supercar in the next lane. Check it out in the video above.
