World’s first Italdesign Zerouno chassis no. 0001 has been delivered to Iconic Cars.
The Italdesign Zerouno was revealed at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. The Zerouno is basically an Audi R8 with a fancy carbon fiber exterior. It’s like the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato range – limited edition with bespoke styling. Italdesign is building just 5 units of the Zerouno and the first one was recently delivered to Iconic Cars in Belgium.
The Zerouno is built around a carbon and aluminium chassis shared with the Audi R8 and Lamborghini Huracan. The engine is also identical to the R8. The 5.2-litre, naturally-aspirated V10 engine produces 610 hp @ 8250 rpm and 431 lb-ft of torque @ 6500 rpm. It can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.2 sec and has a top speed of 205 mph.
Now, a standard Audi R8 costs around $170,000. The Italdesign Zerouno however is slightly more than that – roughly $1.6 million before options and taxes.
