Each year, around this time, Motor Trend gathers some of the best driver’s cars for a drag race. It’s aptly called the ‘World’s Greatest Drag Race’.
Time time, the roster of cars includes sports cars like the Toyota Supra and BMW M2 to muscle cars like the Ford Shelby GT500 and the Challenger Hellcat Widebody. Then, there’s the BMW M850i, Jaguar XE SV Project 8, Bentley Continental GT and even a Lamborghini Urus.
But, there are some seriously quick cars in the list. These include the Porsche 911 (992), Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door 63S, Aston Martin DBS Superlegerra and of course, the McLaren Senna.
Now, that you know the contenders, which car do you think will win? Just to remind you, there’s a Senna.
The humble little Porsche 911 deserves a special mention here. It simply demolished the pack in the quarter mile. The only car quicker than the Porsche was the million dollar McLaren Senna.
