A Youtuber managed to crash a Ferrari 458 Speciale into itself. It might not be a first, but it’s definitely one of the rare supercar crashes caught on camera.
Marchettino was filming with a friends R3 Wheels’ Ferrari 458 Speciale on a sunny day. As began accelerating the hood popped open and smashed into the windshield. Clearly, the hood wasn’t secured properly. The impact resulted in multiple cracks appearing on the windshield. After examining the damage, it looks like the 458 Speciale will need a new bonnet and windshield.
Lucky for Marchettino, the owner of the Ferrari seems like a cool guy. After the incident, you can hear him say, “shit happens. It’s just a car”.
