Would you buy a 2020 Chevrolet Corvette C8 for the double the price?
When Chevrolet announced the new C8 generation Corvette, there was bound to be a long queue of customers waiting to get their hands on one. With a fairly accessible price tag of $59,995, the waiting list was only expected to get longer.
Unlike niche supercars makers, Chevrolet doesn’t ask customers to sign an agreement that prohibits them from selling the car within a specific time period. Therefore, there will be a few who would be looking to cash in on the demand.
One such customer is offering a build slot on eBay for $110,000 – that’s almost double the price of standard C8. The car on offer is finished in Arctic White and is equipped with the Z51 package.
As part of the Z51 package, you get performance suspension and exhaust, Brembo brakes, Michelin summer tires, an electronic limited-slip differential, better cooling system, upgraded rear spoiler and front splitter and adds 5 hp and 5 lb-ft to the total output. It costs $5,000 over the base price.
